Yesterday was the Emperor's birthday here in Japan. Since it fell on a Sunday this year, today is also a holiday.

Christmas may not be a holiday here in Japan, but it sure is a good excuse for a party, or three.
And so there have been many Christmas and End of year parties here recently.
I have to work tomorrow, much to the shock of my family back home.

I've finally finished my Nengajo for this year. Yay! :dummy:
Now on to other stuff that I need to do.

:icontadao-mishima: has asked me to help her with her calligraphy. (No I haven't forgotten)
So I'm making some tutorials Shodo. The first is about half-way done. So I hope to have it up soon, assuming my internet allows me to.
(Thank you for the new 'unlimited' plan 校長 )

Christmas isn't a public holiday in Japan. Makes sense considering that it's a mainly Buddhist/Shinto country.
